For a long time, I believed that distance would dissolve intimacy. Yet the more channels of communication emerged around me, the more my own boundaries—and my right to remain unreachable—began to erode.
The windows form an enclosed space where every handle is turned to the open position. The possibility of contact is always present, but the decision of when—and to what extent—to be open remains inside.
